Dock levelers are hydraulic or mechanical platforms that bridge the gap between loading dock and truck, providing a smooth surface for forklifts to transfer goods. Essential for warehouses, logistics centers, distribution hubs, and manufacturing facilities, they handle variations in truck heights, improve productivity, and ensure worker safety during loading/unloading operations.

Everything you need to know before buying
A dock leveler is a hydraulic or mechanical platform installed at loading bays that bridges the gap between the dock and the truck bed, allowing forklifts to smoothly transfer goods.
Without a leveler, height differences between dock and truck cause forklift problems, slow loading, and worker injuries. Dock levelers ensure safe, fast, smooth loading operations.
Standard 6-ton handles most forklifts and pallet jacks. Choose 10-ton for heavy-duty operations. Beyond 10-ton (custom 12-15T) for very heavy materials.
Hydraulic levelers offer smoother operation, longer life, and lower maintenance. Mechanical (spring) are cheaper upfront but need more frequent service. We recommend hydraulic.
Multiple safety features — lip support (prevents fall when truck pulls away), hydraulic lock, maintenance strut, toe guards, anti-slip surface, and emergency stop buttons.
Requires concrete pit (typically 600mm deep) and electrical connection. We coordinate civil work and complete the installation in 3-5 days.
